Articulograph

The Articulograph is intended for registration of the articulation by means of mangetic sensors fixed on the lips and the tongue. The instrument gives a visualization of the speech movements of the jaw, the lips and inside the mouth.

F-J Electronics sells the Articulograph which is manufactured by CARSTENS Medizinelektronik GmbH, Germany.

CARSTENS Medizinelektronik GmbH produces hardware with up to five magnetic sensors for a three-dimensional registration of the articulatory movements. The appurtenant software depicts the traces from the magnetic sensors together with various forms of statistics.

CARSTENS Medizinelektronik GmbH has produced instrumentation articulatory research the last 15 years, and is known as supplier of hardware and software especially intended for scientific investigations within the field of articulation.
