Hardware and software for speech and voice analysis

F-J Electronics sell hardware and software for analysis of speech, voice and language from our own manufacture and as distributor for well-known manufacturers.

Aerophone II
Based on registration of the airflow, air pressure and intensity this Voice Function Analyser calculates more than 30 different parameters describing respiration, phonation and articulation. Needs a multimedia PC with Win98-II, WinME, Win2000 or WinXP. The only commercially available instrument which calculates Voice efficiency.

Portable Electroglottograph, Model EG90
The instrument registers the vibratory behaviour of the vocal folds. Besides a handy size the instrument has the best signal-to-noise ratio available on the market. CE marked.

Preeamplifier, Model PA14

To obtain an increased signal-to-noise ratio when using software analyzers in connection with a SoundBlaster compatible soundboard in the PC, we recommend our external preamplifier such as preamplifier PA14. The preamplifier increases the signal-to-noise ratio with 12-15 dB. CE marked.

Software for Electroglottography
The EG90 electroglottograph works with the software 'Vocal Assessment for EGG' from Tiger DRS. Many valuable EGG parameters describing the function of the vocal folds are calculated.

Vocal Analysis
of pitch, jitter, intensity, shimmer, tremor, glottal noise energy, harmonic-to-noise energy, and vowel spectrum based on a microphone recording is obtained by 'Vocal Assessment for microphone'.

Two channel recording of EGG and microphone
The Software 'Vocal Assessment' from Tiger DRS is available in a version for Electroglottography only, a version for microphone only, and a version which combines the microphone and the glottographic signals.

Real Analysis
Speech analysis with display of pitch, intensity, spectrogram, formants, model matching of vowel articulation, temporal speech pattern, and statistics.

Nasometer II, Model 6400
Non-invasive hardware/software for assessing and treating nasality. Application in cleft palate, motor speech disorders, hearing impaired, palatal prosthetic fitting, functional nasality, and singing. Visual feed-back incoporating innovative games for children.

Nasal View
Cost-effective for analysis and treating nasality disorders. Makes spectral analysis (FFT, LPC, wide & narrow band spectrograms. Visual and auditive feed-back to the patient.

Voice Range Profile Program, Model 4326
(an option for the CSL System from KayPentax)

Phonetogram (from Tiger DRS)

(Phonetogram with airflow registration (Aerophone II) A Voice Range Profile or a Phonetogram displays the phonatory area (SPL as a function of pitch) in speech and singning. Graphic presentation of voice dynamics at various pitches. Identifies the limits of the voice and voice registers.

Wave Generator
Software generator which generates various waveforms, such as harmonic-,
puls-, sawtooth-, sine-, square-, and triangular spectrum.

Multi-Speech, Model 3700

Low-cost and powerfull speech analysis software using a SoundBlaster compatible soundcard with preamplifier PA14. It incluses all the features of the famous CSL system. Pre-written and user defined macros for automatic replay of interesting parameters, teaching lessons and clinical analysis. Optional software available:
Multi-dimensional voice analysis with 22 parameters, Motor Speech Profile, Real-time Pitch, Sona-Match, Games, Real-time Spectrogram, and various databases.

CSL (Computerized Speech Lab) System, Model 4150

Porfessionel version of Multi-Speech Model 3700. Same facilities as, but Model 4150 uses its own hardware which gives an increased signal-to-noise ratiom of 15-25 dB.

CSL (Computerized Speech Lab) System, Model 4500

The leading hardware/software system for speech professionals. Performs all the analysis mentioned above. Uses 24-bit sampling where system 3700 and 4150 only uses 16 bit-sampling. Dynamic range better than 92 dB. Frequency range 0 to 22 kHz ±0.2 dB.

Articulograph
The Articulograph is intended for registration of the articulation by means of magnetic sensors fixed on the lips and the tongue. The instrument gives a visualization of the speech movements of the jaw, the lips and the tongue inside the mouth.
